
The Eventuri intake system for the Mercedes-AMG A45, CLA45, and GLA45 has been engineered to provide the turbocharger with a smoother, more direct airflow path.
By reducing restrictions and improving the route through which air reaches the turbo, the system minimizes drag and allows boost pressure to build more efficiently. This helps the turbo reach its target boost pressure earlier in the RPM range, improving throttle response and overall performance.
The intake has been designed to deliver the highest possible airflow while maintaining low intake-air temperatures, resulting in a genuine net performance gain. Its less-restrictive airflow path also makes the sound of the turbo spooling more prominent, adding to the character and excitement of the driving experience.
Unlike a conventional cone filter paired with a heat shield, the Mercedes M139 Eventuri system uses Eventuri’s patented carbon-fiber filter housing. This housing creates an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbocharger. Its unique design utilizes the Venturi effect while maintaining smooth, laminar airflow, helping to reduce drag on the turbo.
Every component in this intake system has been engineered for a specific purpose and manufactured to the highest standards. The system is constructed from 100% prepreg carbon fiber, with no fiberglass reinforcement. This allows for a smooth internal surface that promotes consistent, unrestricted airflow.
