RENNtech W222 S550 Sport Package
The RENNtech 550 Sport Package for the W222 S550 includes an ECU upgrade, a carbon fiber decklid spoiler, and stainless steel sport mufflers. RENNtech has developed this power-packed yet stylistically subtle package specifically for the S550 sedan. Through a select combination of upgrades, RENNtech has significantly enhanced both the presence and performance of the S-Class while maintaining its refined character.
The tasteful exterior enhancements begin at the rear with a prepreg carbon fiber decklid spoiler, designed in-house by RENNtech and manufactured in the USA. Complementing the visual upgrades are stainless steel sport mufflers that ensure your S550 turns heads before it even comes into view.
Electronically actuated valves eliminate unwanted exhaust noise during low-RPM driving. RENNtech's valved sport mufflers utilize OEM electronic actuators for seamless operation and integration. All exhaust systems are designed and manufactured at RENNtech headquarters in Stuart, Florida.
The RENNtech S550 ECU upgrade unleashes the true potential of the 4.7L V8 Biturbo engine, increasing output to up to 540 horsepower and 705 lb-ft of torque. Throttle response is also significantly improved, transforming the standard S550 sedan into the quintessential blend of executive luxury and AMG-esque performance. With a minimalist yet highly effective approach, RENNtech has successfully filled the gap between the S550 and S63 models.
As an optional upgrade, RENNtech Deep Monolite wheels complement the W222 S550 with a distinctive blend of performance, luxury, and style. Offered as a complete staggered set of two front and two rear wheels, the Deep Monolite Series is available in RENNtech's signature 10, 10.2, and 16 spoke designs, representing the embodiment of performance and luxury. Designed and developed specifically for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, these wheels incorporate a lathe-grooved backpad process to reduce weight without compromising strength. Exclusive details include CNC-machined RENNtech center caps, along with machined "RENNtech" and "Forged" branding integrated into the adjacent spoke windows. Engineered to utilize OEM lug bolts for most applications, the Deep Monolite Series also offers optional titanium lug bolts for enthusiasts seeking the ultimate finishing touch.

What exactly is prepreg carbon fiber?
- Prepreg is widely known as the finest process in carbon fiber manufacturing and has been used for aerospace and military applications because of its superior consistency in weight, thickness, fitment, resin, carbon layout, and overall quality.
- The pre-impregnated (prepreg) fiber method creates stiffer, stronger laminates with controllable, predictable results and the result is a consistent, tight fiber weave which not only looks amazing, but adds strength. Other companies use a lower cost, wet-layup method which results in components of inferior, strength, appearance and overall quality.
- To explain this process in short, the fiber is pre-impregnated (hence the name) with resin at a production facility, rolled on spools, and frozen to prevent the resin from curing prematurely. This material is than cut and hand laid into a mold to the proper thickness and cured at strictly controlled temperatures. This process creates a laminate with a precisely controlled resin volume and in turn is 20-30% stiffer and stronger than an equivalent thickness wet laminate process.
- This ensures our customers receive components which not only look good on the vehicle standing still, but won’t crack, warp, fall off or fade when mounted to the exterior of their vehicle after six months or while driving at high speed.
